The Hornets (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against North Side (Shelby, MS). The Gators come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, North Side edged Palmer (Marks, MS), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Chargers play the Canton Tigers (Canton, MS) in a Class 6A Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Callaway will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS).
