Texas High School Volleyball - Spring Woods bounced by Carnegie Vanguard

Carnegie Vanguard Rhinos (Houston, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Spring Woods Tigers (Houston, TX), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Carnegie Vanguard improves its record to 11-4 on the season. The Rhinos host Waltrip (Houston, TX) to face the Rams in a 5A Region III District 21 test on Friday, September 12. The Rams go into the test with a record of 5-12. Waltrip lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Galena Park (Galena Park, TX)

Next, the Tigers meet the Austin Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 21 challenge, on Friday, September 12. Spring Woods will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 3-2 league win over Milby (Houston, TX).
