The KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors edged the host Carver Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Tuesday's league outing.
The Warriors now have a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Holy Innocents Episcopal for a 2A Area 5 outing on Tuesday, September 16. KIPP Atlanta Collegiate will play a Golden Bears team coming off a 2-0 league win over Hapeville Charter (Atlanta, GA). The Golden Bears record now stands at 11-9.
With the loss, Carver drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Coretta Scott King YWLA (Atlanta, GA) to play the Soaring Eagle in a 2A Area 5 game on Tuesday, September 9. The Soaring Eagle go into the game with a record of 2-7. Coretta Scott King YWLA lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against South Cobb (Austell, GA)
