With the win, Somerset improves its record to 9-2 on the season. The Briar Jumpers travel to Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY) to encounter the Rockets in a District 47 battle on Thursday, September 11. The Rockets go into the battle with a record of 4-7. Rockcastle County lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Pulaski County (Somerset, KY)

Next, the Rebels meet the Garrard County Golden Lions (Lancaster, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Casey County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Golden Lions enter the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Danville Christian Academy (Danville, KY).
