Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Chaminade Eagles (West Hills, CA) and the host Notre Dame (SO) Knights (Sherman Oaks, CA), observed Chaminade's volleyball team top Notre Dame (SO) by a count of 3-0.

The Eagles (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA). The Trailblazers go into the Mission battle with a 12-2 record. In their last battle, Sierra Canyon achieved victory over Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Knights now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Culver City for a non-league battle on Monday, September 15. Notre Dame (SO) will encounter a Centaurs squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Centaurs record now stands at 4-7.
