North Carolina High School Volleyball - Chase East Burke

The East Burke Cavaliers topped the visiting Chase Trojans volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Cavaliers now possess a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to East Rutherford for a Western Piedmont 3A/4A outing on Thursday, September 11. East Burke will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Chase falls to 0-8 on the year. The Trojans host Draughn (Valdese, NC) to confront the Wildcats in a Western Piedmont 3A/4A match on Thursday, September 11. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 7-4. Draughn won 3-0 in their recent league match against West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC)
