North Carolina High School Volleyball - Chatham Central bounced by South Stokes

The Chatham Central Bears volleyball squad (Bear Creek, NC), was defeated 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC)

With the win, South Stokes improves its record to 7-4 on the season. The Sauras travel to Forbush (East Bend, NC) to encounter the Falcons in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 10. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 6-5. Forbush won 3-2 in their recent league battle against Surry Central (Dobson, NC)

Next, the Bears meet the South Davidson Wildcats (Denton, NC) in a Greater Triad 1A/2A challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Chatham Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to North Stokes (Danbury, NC).
