Jackson County Generals (McKee, KY) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball team overcome the host Clay County Tigers (Manchester, KY), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Generals (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY). The Mountaineers come into the District 49 challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, Oneida Baptist Institute was beaten by Knox Central (Barbourville, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers face the Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 15. Clay County will attempt to advance on its 5-10 season record. The Colonels go into the game with a 12-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA).
