Community Christian Academy Warriors (Bessemer City, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy Crusaders (Lincolnton, NC), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Challenger (Hickory, NC). The Firebirds come into the challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Challenger beat Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy (Lincolnton, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Crusaders play the Challenger Firebirds (Hickory, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Firebirds come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Community Christian Academy (Bessemer City, NC).
