Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the St. George's Athletes (Milner, GA) and the visiting Covenant Academy Rams (Macon, GA), observed St. George's's volleyball team hold off Covenant Academy by a count of 3-2.

The Athletes (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against CrossPointe Christian Academy (Williamson, GA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, CrossPointe Christian Academy was edged by Trinity Christian School of Griffin (Griffin, GA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Rams now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Creation Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, September 11. Covenant Academy will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Scholars Guild Academy (Loganville, GA). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-3.
