East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, East Surry improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Surry Central (Dobson, NC) to meet the Golden Eagles in a Northwest 3A/4A challenge on Thursday, September 11. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Surry Central won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Elkin (Elkin, NC)

Next, the Wildcats meet the Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 15. West Stokes will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 3-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Morehead (Eden, NC).
