Florida High School Volleyball - Edgewater bounced by Horizon

Horizon Hawks (Winter Garden, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Edgewater Eagles (Orlando, FL), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Hawks (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Minneola (Minneola, FL). The Hawks enter the 6A District 4 challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Lake Minneola beat East Ridge (Clermont, FL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Jones Fightin' Tigers (Orlando, FL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 11. Edgewater will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Fightin' Tigers go into the test with a 1-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Edgewater (Orlando, FL).
