Illinois High School Volleyball - Meridian over Egyptian

In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Meridian Bobcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Egyptian Pharaohs.

The Bobcats (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cobden (Cobden, IL). The Appleknockers come into the South Egyptian challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Cobden beat Dongola (Dongola, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pharaohs meet the Agape Christian Knights (Energy, IL) in a South Egyptian test, on Thursday, September 11. Egyptian will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 4-0 record after their 2-0 league win over Joppa-Maple Grove (Joppa, IL).
