The Union Farmers volleyball squad (Union, NJ), was defeated 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Elizabeth Minutemen (Elizabeth, NJ)

The Minutemen (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Westfield (Westfield, NJ). The Blue Devils enter the Union County - Watchung contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Westfield beat Summit (Summit, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Farmers meet the Oak Knoll Royals (Summit, NJ) in a Union County - Mountain challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Union will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Royals go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 league loss to Cranford (Cranford, NJ).
