Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Watauga upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Foard (Newton, NC) to play the Tigers in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 10. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 6-5. Foard lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC)

With the loss, Freedom drops to 2-8 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC) to play the Indians in a Northwestern 6A/7A outing on Thursday, September 11. The Indians come into the outing with a record of 4-5. St. Stephens lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC)
