The Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting Smithfield-Selma Spartans (Smithfield, NC), 3-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Bengals now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to South Garner for a Greater Neuse River 7A contest on Thursday, September 11. Fuquay - Varina will battle a Titans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Garner (Garner, NC). The Titans record now stands at 1-11.
