In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Lyndhurst Golden Bears volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Hawthorne Bears.
The Golden Bears (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Glen Rock (Glen Rock, NJ). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Glen Rock beat Park Ridge (Park Ridge, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bears meet the New Milford Knights (New Milford, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Hawthorne will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 2-1 league loss to Leonia (Leonia, NJ).
