Alabama High School Volleyball - Mortimer Jordan edged by Jasper

Jasper Vikings (Jasper, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team hold off the host Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils (Kimberly, AL), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Vikings (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 15-2 record. In their last challenge, Hazel Green got by Madison County (Gurley, AL), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils meet the Gardendale Rockets (Gardendale, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Mortimer Jordan will attempt to upgrade on its 16-5 season record. The Rockets enter the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Hoover (Hoover, AL).
