The Cavaliers now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty for a Seminole bout on Thursday, September 11. Jefferson Forest will clash with a Minutemen team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Floyd County (Floyd, VA). The Minutemen record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Staunton River drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Pulaski County (Dublin, VA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, September 15. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Pulaski County lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA)
