Michigan High School Volleyball - Lapeer crushed by Powers Catholic

The Powers Catholic Chargers knocked off the host Lapeer Lightning volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Chargers now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Garber for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 10. Powers Catholic will clash with a Dukes team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Flat Rock (Flat Rock, MI). The Dukes record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Lapeer drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The Lightning travel to Saginaw (Saginaw, MI) to battle the Trojans in a Saginaw Valley match on Thursday, September 11. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 0-1. Saginaw lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Davison (Davison, MI)
