With the win, McAdams improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Ethel (Ethel, MS) to encounter the Tigers in a Class 1A Region 5 battle on Thursday, September 11. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 14-0. Ethel won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Nanih Waiya (Louisville, MS)

The Gators now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest for a non-league battle on Monday, September 15. Leake County will encounter a Bearcats squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Morton (Morton, MS). The Bearcats record now stands at 5-9.
