South-Doyle Cherokees (Knoxville, TN) boosters were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Loudon Redskins (Loudon, TN), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cherokees (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Maryville Christian (Maryville, TN). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Maryville Christian lost by Bradley Knights (Morristown, TN), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Redskins now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alcoa for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Loudon will face a Tornadoes squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to South-Doyle (Knoxville, TN). The Tornadoes record now stands at 4-7.
