Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes (Woodstock, IL) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Marian Central Catholic advances its record to 2-11 on the season. The Hurricanes host Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL) to face the Knights in a Chicagoland Christian test on Monday, September 15. The Knights go into the test with a record of 11-3.

The Crusaders now sport a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Genoa-Kingston for a Big Northern outing on Thursday, September 18.
