Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Redwood Valley Cardinals (Redwood Falls, MN) and the visiting Luverne Cardinals (Luverne, MN), observed Redwood Valley's volleyball team hold off Luverne by a count of 3-2.

The Cardinals (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wabasso (Wabasso, MN). The Rabbits enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Wabasso got by Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Cardinals now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Adrian/Ellsworth for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. Luverne will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN). The Dragons record now stands at 1-4.
