The Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions volleyball squad (Paterson, NJ), was edged 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Mary Help of Christians Academy Blue Jays (North Haledon, NJ)

The Blue Jays (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hawthorne Christian (Hawthorne, NJ). The Defenders enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Hawthorne Christian was tipped by Saddle River Day (Saddle River, NJ), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Lions encounter the Butler Bulldogs (Butler, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 11. Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
