In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Mason County Royals volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Robertson County Black Devils.

The Royals (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against West Carter (Olive Hill, KY). The Comets come into the non-league challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, West Carter beat Morgan County (West Liberty, KY), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Black Devils play the Fleming County Panthers (Flemingsburg, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 10. Robertson County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Mason County (Maysville, KY).
