The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Nettleton Tigers (Nettleton, MS) and the visiting Winona Tigers (Winona, MS), saw Nettleton's volleyball team overcome Winona by a tally of 3-1.

The Tigers (14-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Noxubee County (Macon, MS). The Tigers enter the Class 3A Region 4 challenge with a 0-5 record.

Next, the Tigers meet the Choctaw County Chargers (Ackerman, MS) in a Class 3A Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Winona will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Chargers enter the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MS).
