In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Robert C. Byrd Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the North Marion Huskies.

The Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Notre Dame (Clarksburg, WV). The Fighting Irish come into the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Notre Dame went down by Cameron (Cameron, WV), 2-0, in a league test.

The Huskies now sport a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. North Marion will face a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Cameron (Cameron, WV). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 2-7.
