The William Monroe Dragons prevailed the host Orange County Fighting Hornets volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Dragons confront the Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) in a Valley bout, on Thursday, September 11. William Monroe will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Trailblazers come into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA).
With the loss, Orange County drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Fighting hornets travel to Monticello (Charlottesville, VA) to clash with the Mustangs in a Jefferson bout on Thursday, September 11. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 1-4. Monticello won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Louisa County (Mineral, VA)
