In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Republic Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Oroville Hornets.

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Kettle Falls (Kettle Falls, WA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Kettle Falls lost by Davenport (Davenport, WA), 3-0, in a league outing.

With the loss, Oroville drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hornets host Curlew (Curlew, WA) to play the Cougars in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 16. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 0-1. Curlew lost 3-2 in their recent league game against Mary Walker (Springdale, WA)
