Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Patapsco Patriots (Baltimore, MD) and the visiting Owings Mills Golden Eagles (Owings Mills, MD), observed Patapsco's volleyball team top Owings Mills by a tally of 25-21.
The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Woodlawn (Baltimore, MD). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Woodlawn was defeated by Randallstown (Randallstown, MD), 3-2, in a non-league test.
The Golden Eagles now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Randallstown for a Baltimore County 2A/1A challenge on Thursday, September 11. Owings Mills will meet a Rams team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Woodlawn (Baltimore, MD). The Rams record now stands at 1-0.
