Wylie Pirates (Wylie, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Rowlett Eagles (Rowlett, TX), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Pirates (16-11) will now prepare for their challenge against North Garland (Garland, TX). The Raiders come into the 6A Region II District 9 challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, North Garland lost by Sachse (Sachse, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles play the South Garland Titans (Garland, TX) in a 6A Region II District 9 challenge, on Friday, September 12. Rowlett will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 0-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Wylie East (Wylie, TX).
