The Salem Academy Crusaders (Salem, OR) volleyball knocked off the visiting Santiam Christian Eagles (Corvallis, OR), 3-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Crusaders now possess a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Taft for a 3A PacWest match on Thursday, September 11. Salem Academy will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Dayton (Dayton, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 3-3.
The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Westside Christian (Lake Oswego, OR). The Eagles enter the non-league match with a 6-0 record. In their last match, Westside Christian notched a victory over Portland Adventist Academy (Portland, OR), 3-0, in a league bout.
