In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Southern Trojans volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Shawnee Golden Eagles.

The Trojans (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against North Bullitt (Shepherdsville, KY). The Eagles enter the District 23 challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last test, North Bullitt was defeated by Male (Louisville, KY), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Golden Eagles now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Shawnee will face a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Seneca (Louisville, KY). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 9-4.
