Utica Chieftains (Utica, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans (Sterling Heights, MI), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Chieftains (6-13) will now prepare for their challenge against L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, L'Anse Creuse North beat Dakota (Macomb, MI), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Titans meet the Grosse Pointe North Norsemen (Grosse Pointe, MI) in a Macomb Area - White challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Sterling Heights Stevenson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Norsemen come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Fraser (Fraser, MI).
