Texas High School Volleyball - Turner bounced by The Colony

The Turner Lions volleyball squad (Carrollton, TX), dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX)

With the win, The Colony improves its record to 6-17 on the season. The Cougars host Wakeland (Frisco, TX) to encounter the Wolverines in a 5A Region II District 12 battle on Friday, September 12. The Wolverines go into the battle with a record of 14-5. Wakeland lost 3-2 in their recent league battle against Reedy (Frisco, TX)

The Lions now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newman Smith for a 5A Region II District 12 contest on Friday, September 12. Turner will meet a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 5-15.
