Dos Palos has gone 9-0-1 against Avenal recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Dos Palos Broncos will face off against the Avenal Buccaneers at 5:30 p.m. Dos Palos' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Monday just wasn't the day for Dos Palos' offense. They lost 4-0 to Riverdale on Monday.

Meanwhile, Avenal and Del Oro finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Avenal's goal came courtesy of Yareli Rangel, which was the first she's scored this season.

Dos Palos' defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. Avenal's draw gives them a new season record of 5-4-3.

Dos Palos came out on top in a nail-biter against Avenal in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dos Palos since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
