Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Uriah McConnell: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also made five total tackles (1.0 for loss) as Vista PEAK Prep fell to Denver South 35-34. We hope McConnell's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

McConnell and Vista PEAK Prep will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mullen at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Bison will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 45 places lower in Colorado), but they're not letting that get them down.
