Basketball Recap: Olean Find Success

Olean won the last time they faced Dunkirk and things went their way on Friday too. The Huskies managed a 57-52 win over the Marauders.

Despite the loss, Dunkirk still got an impressive performance from K'Vion Tell, who posted 23 points. The contest was Tell's fourth in a row with at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Kenner, who earned seven points in addition to six rebounds and three blocks.

Olean's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points over those games. As for Dunkirk, they moved to 12-2 with that loss, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Olean will face off against Falconer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dunkirk, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 57-53 victory against Southwestern on the 2nd.
