The Marion Scarlet Hurricanes will challenge the Tazewell Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Marion's offense hasn't had much luck over their past three matchups, but Thursday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Marion lost 28-7 to Lee on Friday.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous five game, Tazewell brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They took down Grundy 35-20 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Golden Wave: they've now won five in a row.

Marion better keep an eye on Walker Patterson. He was instrumental in Tazewell's win, rushing for 101 yards and a pair of TDs.

Tazewell's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Marion, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Marion suffered a grim 31-7 defeat to Tazewell in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Scarlet Hurricanes, Carter Creasy (who rushed for 91 yards and one score, and also threw for 156 yards and a pair of touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time.
