Basketball Recap: Bradford Drops Season-High Score on Smethport

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bradford). They blew past the Smethport Hubbers 50-25 on Monday. The Owls haven't had any issues with the Hubbers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Despite the defeat, Smethport saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Madelyn McKean posted seven points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Taylor, who scored six points and five boards.

Bradford's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Smethport, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.

As of now, neither Bradford nor Smethport have any future games scheduled.
