Softball Recap: Seiling Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

Seiling hadn't done well against Arnett recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Seiling never let Arnett get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. This was payback for Seiling, who suffered a 13-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The result came thanks to Addie Fisher's shutout, as she gave up just six hits.

At the plate, Seiling's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kason Newman, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Seiling pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Arnett, they moved to 12-18 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Seiling nor Arnett have any future games scheduled.
