Soccer Game Preview: Laguna Hills vs. Valencia

The Laguna Hills Hawks will take on the Valencia Tigers at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.

Laguna Hills is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals last Tuesday, they were much more limited against Costa Mesa last Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, Valencia entered their tilt with Ocean View on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Seahawks onto the board and left with a 6-0 victory. That looming 6-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

Valencia has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those six matchups. As for Laguna Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-3.
