Softball Game Preview: George Walton Academy Bulldogs vs. Tattnall Square Academy Trojans

George Walton Academy hasn't had much luck against Tattnall Square Academy recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Bulldogs will head out to square off against the Trojans at 10:00 a.m. George Walton Academy will be strutting in after a win while Tattnall Square Academy will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, George Walton Academy got the win against Lake Oconee Academy by a conclusive 9-1. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by exactly eight runs.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 21 runs the game before, Tattnall Square Academy was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They lost 7-1 to Westfield School. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Trojans have suffered since September 14, 2024.

George Walton Academy pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Tattnall Square Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

George Walton Academy couldn't quite finish off Tattnall Square Academy in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 and fell 9-7. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
