Softball Game Preview: Heard County Braves vs. Model Blue Devils

The Heard County Braves will take on the Model Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Heard County 3.6, Model 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Heard County's last matchup with Central could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Wednesday. The Braves came up short against the Lions, falling 10-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Braves have suffered since August 16th.

Meanwhile, Model fell victim to Bremen and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 8-0 to Bremen. The loss was Model's first of the season.

Heard County's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Model, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 11-1.
