Baseball Game Preview: Dade County Wolverines vs. Armuchee Indians

The Dade County Wolverines will challenge the Armuchee Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dade County will be strutting in after a win while Armuchee will be coming in after a defeat.

Dade County made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Chattooga, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Everything went Dade County's way against Chattooga on Friday as Dade County made off with an 11-4 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolverines considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Meanwhile, Armuchee fell victim to Fannin County and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Rebels. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dade County is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. Armuchee's loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Dade County suffered a grim 18-4 defeat to Armuchee when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Dade County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
