Volleyball Recap: Lamar's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Lamar had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Creekview Mustangs. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Creekview's loss came despite strong showings from Kennedy Allen and Kennedy Richardson. Allen had six digs and two aces, while Richardson had ten digs. Taylor Skelton also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Lamar's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Creekview, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16.

Coming up, Lamar will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Creekview and Terrell will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
