Baseball Recap: Morrow Has No Trouble Against Woodland

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Morrow brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They were the clear victor by a 14-7 margin over the Woodland Wolfpack on Friday. Considering the Mustangs' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The team relied heavily on Bryce Glass, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He also hit a hit, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Preston Ward, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Morrow always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .528. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.
