Basketball Game Preview: Upper St. Clair Panthers vs. Norwin Knights

The Upper St. Clair Panthers will face off against the Norwin Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Upper St. Clair is headed into Monday's matchup hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They fell 45-38 to Canon-McMillan on Friday. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Norwin's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Bishop Guilfoyle by a score of 53-50.

Upper St. Clair's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 11-4. As for Norwin, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Upper St. Clair was able to grind out a solid win over Norwin when the teams last played on January 3rd, winning 63-53. Will Upper St. Clair repeat their success, or does Norwin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
