Softball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln's last matchup with Sioux City North could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Lynx came up short against the Stars, falling 17-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Stars this season, with their most recent defeat being a 5-3 loss back in May.

Lincoln saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Beckman, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Lincoln's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Sioux City North, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7.

Looking ahead, Lincoln will welcome Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sioux City North, they will face off against Storm Lake on Friday.
